So it just makes sense that I LOVE DISNEY WORLD! I love the attractions, I love the atomosphere, I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I can deal with the crowds and the ridiculous heat in the middle of the summer. Its just the "happiest place on earth"! I went with my family for my 20th birthday and again with the Mr. and some friends for my 22nd birthday (I couldn't go for my 21st, it just wouldnt be appropriate) and I'm dying to go again!
So the Mr. called me today and told me this...
Through December 23, 2009, each active or retired member of the U.S. military may obtain one complimentary 5-day “Disney’s Armed Forces Salute” ticket with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More options. This ticket is valid for five days of admission into the four Walt Disney World theme parks, plus a total of five visits to a choice of Disney water park, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park or certain other attractions. During this offer period, active or retired U.S. military personnel may also make a one-time purchase of up to a maximum of five 5-Day “Disney’s Armed Forces Salute Companion” tickets (one theme park per day) for $99 per ticket, plus tax, for family members (including spouse) or friends. Although this ticket for family members and friends does not include either the Park Hopper or Water Park Fun & More options, this ticket can be upgraded to add either such option, or both, for an additional $25, plus tax, per option. All tickets and options are nontransferable and must be used by December 23, 2009.
YAY!!!! Maybe we'll have to make another trip there this year...

I found your blog some how, I don't really remember! LOL
I love Disney World too! As well as my dad. If it were up to him I think we would be there every summer!
I also noticed that you're a NICU nurse? I am in my pre-req's at a community college for nursing & that's the department that I've thought about working in. Any suggestions and/or thoughts??
Thanks =]
So yeah, the whole family to disney world thing isn't gonna happen like we've been planning... soooooo... since Terrance and I still want to go my mom said we could use the vacation club still so we should all go together!!!! I'm serious. We will talk more about it later, I have to verify the details of it with my mom to see what kind of place and how big of a place we can get. I will give her a call today after work, I really want to go!
We got that e-mail too. Did you know that Anheuser Busch (the people that run seaworld and Busch gardens...and make beer.) have a military deal too? Only one day...but it's free. =D

My hubby and I and kids love Disney World...totally! We save our money and go about every four years or so.
My husband and I even went there on our honeymoon about 45,000 years ago.
How fun for you!!
I found your blog via Lindsey (^PP^). What a great deal!!! I love Disney World too! My husband got out of the Marine Corp 1.5 years ago, and we went to Disney for our honeymoon. It was a blast.
oh wow!! That is so cool...my hubby has NEVER been to Disney World...maybe this is just the excuse we need to go!
