Not Me Monday

I can't believe its already Monday...this week just flew by. So here we go again with all of the things I did "Not" do this week...

I did NOT call in sick to work twice this week because I would NEVER risk getting my fragile patients sick...and after considering calling in, I did NOT think that would mean I'd have 2 extra days to get ready for our New Year's Eve party...Not Me!

I did NOT thoroughly enjoy only working one day this week...and try to figure out a way to do it all the time...

I am NOT totally excited about getting my Wedding Storybook album this week!

I did NOT have a great time at our New Year's Eve slumber party. Eight 25-35 year olds would NEVER spend the night stuffing their faces, playing board games and watching the Simpsons Movie til 4 in the morning...that would just be juvenile... I did NOT try to be a "real" wife by making a New Year's Day dinner...which included a Glazed ham (which I bought from the store and stuck in the oven), Cheesy Potatoes (leftover from Mama Cookie for our New Years Eve party), and Jiffy Corn Bread...I at least turned the oven on...

I did NOT go out to dinner at Smokey Bones Saturday night and wonder why they were playing 90's music...(XM 90's on 9 to be exact, which is my favorite station)

I was NOT a little dissappointed when we went out after dinner and the club was NOT playing 90's music...

I was NOT sad to say goodbye to my brother after his 2 week trip here. I am NOT dreading his upcoming deployment in June...

Apparently I must have been pretty good this week since all of those things did NOT happen... Just wanted to add that Baby Stellan is doing much much better, make sure to check out MckMama for more laughs!

Cooking? What is cooking? After being at my folks for a week, I can't remember about cooking!

The less time spent in the kitchen, the better!

It's sad how old I'm getting staying up til 2 AM is a huge accomplishment.

We attempted something insane cookingwise for New Years, I tried making Beef Wellington. It was interesting.

There is no better way to spend New Years than the way we did. It was a blast. We should do it all the time!

Hey, slumber parties are fun, lol! I remember after we got married and I felt like a "real" wife because I managed to do a load of laundry all on my own, lol!

Slumber parties shouldn't expire with age. They are just as much fun for adults. Especially since no one can tell us that its time to go to bed. =D
