Only in my world

Since my car has been running funny, I made an appointment to have it looked at this morning. The lady at the service center asked what was wrong and I said that at higher speeds the car would shake like crazy. She recommended that I make sure there wasn't any ice around the wheels. Obviously I made sure there wasn't any lingering ice before I drove it, and it was still doing the crazy shaking thing. I haven't been driving it because I don't want to end on the side of the road in the snow. So when I got off work this morning I drove my hubbys truck and he drove my car to the dealership.

On the way there, he calls me and asks "How fast did you go before the car started shaking?"
I answered "Over 50 mph"
He said "I've driven over 55 several times and I don't feel anything"

So after he met me near the dealership, determined to prove myself right, I got in the car and drove. I got it up to 50mph, nothing...then 55mph and nothing...then 60mph and nothing... and so on...

We went back to the dealership, picked up his truck and I went home. I wasted an hour of my morning for what??? ICE!!

I'm so done with winter...

My car was doing the same thing... I kicked all the ice out and it was still doing it. So I took it and got it washed... and yes it stopped!

hahah. That would totally be me and the husband would delight in picking on me for it. I hope winter ends soon for you.

This happened to me a while ago. I got my tires balanced and that fixed it!
